Westcountry Anime Meeting #626, Monday 21st of August from 8pm in the cellar bar of the Fortescue Hotel.
Its movie time!
In 1979 during the production of Mobile Suit Gundams episode 15, the art and animation director Yasuhiko Yoshikazu was hospitalised and most of the episodes production was outsourced. The finished episode was one of very poor quality.
Yasuhiko, liking some of the concepts of the original episode remade it as a film, released in 2022, 43 years later.
Tonight we shall be watching Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island!
