Westcountry Anime Meeting #550, Thursday 3rd of October from 8pm in the Cellar bar of the Fortescue Hotel.

Its time for our next featured series showcase! We shall watch the first two episodes of 4 shows over the next two weeks. We shall then vote for the show to watch in its entirety.

We shall be starting off with the first two episodes of Amagami SS: Rihoko is Best Girl Edition. Definitely for real this time.

Approximately 550 meetings ago on June 22nd 2006, we watched Neon Genesis Evangelion . 13 years later Eva has now been nominated for featured series, and we shall again be watching the first two episodes…

Westcountry Anime Meeting #548, Thursday 19th of September from 8pm in the cellar bar of the Fortescue Hotel.

Its our second movie/ova meeting. We will be watching Tales of Byston Well: Garzey’s Wing .

Written and directed by Tomino Yoshiyuki, this is the 4th and final show set in his fantasy world of Byston Well.

As this ova is only an 1 1/2 hours, please bring along some shorts for afterwards, and convince us to watch them!
